We started building a pool last March.

It took the pool people (Anthony and Sylvan) until October to have the drainage plan approved by the city of Piney Point. They kept getting comments back from the city and kept ignoring the specifics and/or submitting the plans for the wrong customer, etc.

They started the pool build in October.

When time to install the area drainage, the pool company’s plumber and project manager went rogue and didn’t follow the plans that took so long to be approved.

When the city came to inspect, the work was completely different than the approved plan.

The pool company had to either re-do the plumbing or submit plans to match the work they did.

They submitted new plans which have now been turned down at least 4 more times. Last one was just a few minutes ago.

My yard looks like a war zone, has trenches all over the place. My dogs have no place to go out. My expensive patch of artificial turf has been completely trashed.  We haven’t been able to get one of our cars out of the garage in 3+ months.

I have paid all but 5% at this point. The entire perimeter of my house looks like the below.
